Occipital Overlay 800N

The fencing mask has always been the most suitable head protection for HEMA. However, it has an uncovered area at the back of the head which, if it does not pose a problem in modern fencing, can represent a risk for other Martial sports like HEMA, Kali and lightsaber. This is why the famous manufacturer SPES has developed this protection which is positioned at the back of the mask and allows to protect the back of the skull (occipital bone) against blows which would come from the back.

Its "teardrop" shape allows it to be easily adapted to all mask models and sizes.

It is equipped with Velcro strips on the outside and the inside is lined for more comfort.

The lining is made of 800N certified composite fabric which corresponds to the resistance required by the FIE for international fencing competitions such as the Olympic Games.
