Synthetic Targes

Synthetic Viking targes and shields offer a modern solution for studying Nordic combat techniques. Their construction from composite materials combines lightness and durability, ideal for intensive training sessions. These replicas faithfully reproduce the shape and balance of historical shields, allowing HEMA practitioners to authentically explore Viking offensive and defensive techniques. Their impact resistance facilitates the learning of characteristic shield maneuvers, such as the "shield wall." Perfect for both beginners and advanced practitioners, they offer a secure training experience without compromising historical realism.
