HEMA Fencing Mask 350N - V4

The 350N fencing mask FAITS D'ARMES has been accompanying practitioners of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) for about fifteen years. Designed for both club training and workshops, it combines protection in accordance with European standards, good visibility, and lasting comfort. Its version 4 introduces the most significant overhaul of its grille since its inception.

A Redesigned Dome:

The grille abandons the slightly pointed top of previous versions in favor of a rounder and continuous contour. This shape deflects strikes: the point or edge slides off the grille instead of getting stuck, and the force is distributed across the entire mesh rather than concentrating on a high point. More open, the dome also widens the field of vision, which is immediately noticeable in combat, particularly with attacks coming from above and the sides.

Design and Materials:

The grille is made from a single piece, without any assembly that could loosen over time. The central band has been completely revised: thicker and with a rounded section, it replaces the old flat band and protects the edges of the grille and the welding points against deformation. The mask thus maintains its geometry for a longer period. The bib is covered with fabric resistant to 350 Newton, compliant with level 1 of the EN 13567 standard, and covers the neck and throat.

Comfort and Fit:

The internal padding is removable and machine washable, which maintains the mask's hygiene over sessions. A replacement liner is available separately. The attachment system, which combines a metal tab and a rear strap with a hook-and-loop fastener, precisely adjusts the fit to every morphology. The sizes and weights remain identical to those of the previous version.

For What Practice?

This mask is suitable for beginners as well as confirmed practitioners training with synthetic simulators, wooden weapons, or light weapons. For fencing with steel weapons and for competition, we recommend the 1600N mask, as this level of certification is required by most HEMA tournaments.
