Bellatore was born from the passion of two Galician blacksmith artisans, Iago and Borja, who chose to dedicate their lives to the ancient art of sword making. In their workshop in Vedra, on the banks of the legendary Ulla River in Galicia, they continue the centuries-old traditions of Spanish blacksmithing.
Practitioners of HEMA since 2007, their expertise extends beyond forging: their deep understanding of historical martial arts guides each of their creations. Every weapon is handcrafted, hammer stroke by hammer stroke, making each piece unique and imbued with its own story.

The Thibault de Bellatore rapier is inspired by the specifications of Gerard Thibault d'Anvers as described in his 17th-century treatise "Académie de l'Espée."
