HEMA longsword inspired by a type XVa piece preserved at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, developed by Bellatore with the contribution of instructor Keith Farrell to find a compromise between historical accuracy and regular club use. Available in two handle lengths depending on the desired grip.

Description
The type XVa is among the most widespread blade profiles in Europe during the 14th and 15th centuries, popular with both nobles and commoners. Its tapered geometry, designed to pierce the weaknesses of armor, retains enough sharpness to alternate between powerful thrusts and cutting actions, making it an ideal tool for studying the ancient Liechtenauer techniques as well as the works of Fiore dei Liberi.
This "1419" is inspired by a type XVa piece preserved at the Philadelphia Museum of Art; its proportions have been refined with the contribution of instructor Keith Farrell to remain usable in clubs. The flexible, hand-forged blade is made from high-quality spring steel, while the stainless steel guard facilitates maintenance.
Two handle lengths are offered: a short version of 16 cm, close to historical proportions, and a long version of 23 cm, which provides more space for HEMA gloves and shifts the balance point closer to the guard. Before any tournament participation, it is recommended to check the compliance of the tip and the thickness of the blunted edges with the organizer.
