Description
The Red Dragon protective gloves offer an affordable solution for historical martial arts and sword fighting. They were developed in collaboration with the HEMA community and are designed to offer the best compromise between protection and manoeuvrability, notably thanks to overlapping plastic protection plates. The combination of plastic protection plates and high-impact shock-absorbing foam offers a high level of protection against numerous types of weapons. The outer material made of microfiber offers durable protection and a level of resistance far superior to what is usually found in traditional synthetic leather materials.
Please note that these gloves are designed for training with synthetic swords. While most people consider them durable enough for controlled training with steel weapons, the gloves will deteriorate more quickly.

I'm hesitating between two sizes, which one should I choose?
If you are in doubt, we recommend choosing the larger of the two sizes. When it comes to gloves, it's better for them to be a bit too large rather than too tight.

Important information and terms of use
The "350N" and "800N" ratings designate the fabric's puncture resistance measured in a laboratory. They do not constitute a guarantee against impacts and do not measure shock absorption, as the case may be.
The use of this equipment, particularly for the practice of HEMA, is under the sole responsibility of the user. It is recommended that the user adapt and complete their equipment according to the simulators used (steel, synthetic, wood), the intensity of their practice, and the regulatory requirements of their club or tournament.
