Description

The protection of these gloves relies on a three-layer construction: ultra-high-density polyethylene plates on the outside, a 3mm EVA cushioning layer, all covered with 1000D Cordura for abrasion resistance. The plates overlap strategically to eliminate vulnerable areas, especially at the joints.

The palm uses specially selected leather for its anti-slip properties and wear resistance, ensuring optimal weapon control even in sweaty conditions. The fingers are slightly pre-shaped in a "handshake" position, ideal for saber techniques.

The flared cuff effectively protects the wrist and extends 5 cm beyond, ensuring continuous protection with your forearm guards. Although primarily designed for saber, these gloves offer sufficient protection even for longsword work.

The materials require a short break-in period to gain flexibility and perfectly adapt to your hand, after which they offer remarkable dexterity, close to that of an ordinary glove.

If you have any doubts, we recommend choosing the larger of the two sizes. When it comes to gloves, it's better for them to be a bit too big rather than too tight.

In the absence of a harmonized European standard specific to HEMA, this material does not benefit from the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certification of the FIE-CE type.

The "350N" and "800N" ratings designate the fabric's puncture resistance measured in a laboratory. They do not constitute a guarantee against impacts and do not measure shock absorption, as the case may be.

The use of this equipment, particularly for the practice of HEMA, is under the sole responsibility of the user. It is recommended that the user adapt and complete their equipment according to the simulators used (steel, synthetic, wood), the intensity of their practice, and the regulatory requirements of their club or tournament.
