Description
The Guardians V2 Gauntlets from SWORDMASTER are designed for HEMA practitioners looking for hand protection suitable for competitive HEMA practice, without sacrificing mobility or budget.
These gauntlets use treated polypropylene plates to provide excellent shock resistance and are capable of dissipating impact forces while preventing cracks. Their design prioritizes full coverage of the fingers and thumb; thanks to a strategic overlap of plates, a notable improvement over their predecessor.
The new thumb design offers three-sided protection and the inner padding, redesigned in this second version, prioritizes comfort and shock absorption.
The fit around the wrist is achieved with an elastic lace that is easily tightened with one hand.
These gauntlets are perfectly suited for the practice of the longsword, whether synthetic or steel. The protection offered by the Guardians V2 is designed for intensive training and competitive assaults, where safety should not be compromised.

I'm hesitating between two sizes, which one should I choose?
If you're in doubt, we recommend choosing the larger of the two sizes. When it comes to gloves, it's better for them to be a bit too large rather than too tight.

Important information and terms of use
The "350N" and "800N" ratings designate the fabric's puncture resistance measured in a laboratory. They do not constitute a guarantee against impacts and do not measure shock absorption, as the case may be.
The use of this equipment, particularly for the practice of HEMA, is under the sole responsibility of the user. It is recommended that the user adapt and complete their equipment according to the simulators used (steel, synthetic, wood), the intensity of their practice, and the regulatory requirements of their club or tournament.
