MAC ARMOUR Hard shell Gauntlets

Inspired by designs from the second half of the 15th century, they offer a perfect balance between mobility and protection level.

Constructed with 3mm thick plastic, these gauntlets effectively withstand impacts, even from steel weapons. Their “mitten” design, covering all fingers except the thumb, allows for optimal impact distribution over a larger surface, thus ensuring superior protection compared to individual finger gloves. While this configuration may slightly reduce dexterity, it is essential for increased safety in combat.

These gauntlets are designed for sparring with steel, wood, and synthetic weapons, offering appreciated versatility for practitioners of various disciplines. The straps provide a natural and comfortable fit, enabling efficient weapon handling.

The gauntlets are initially designed for EU size 9 (Medium equivalent) but are adjustable enough to fit hand sizes 8 (S), 9 (M), and 10 (L). Their sliding segment design facilitates adjustment and comfort.

Padded gloves must be worn under these shells. MAC Armour leather fencing gloves are an ideal choice.
