This pack marks the entry into advanced HEMA practice with steel simulators. Resulting from the educational expertise of the Laval historical fencing club, this SPES selection offers the required level of protection for technical exercises and sparring with steel weapons, while ensuring the mobility necessary for advanced techniques.

The 350N fencing mask remains the foundation of cranio-facial protection, now complemented by the Unity mask cover in thick leather, which effectively absorbs the impacts of metal simulators while protecting the back of the head. This proven combination ensures optimal protection against thrusts and cuts characteristic of steel work.

The Lobster V3 gauntlets represent a major evolution compared to the foam pack. These new-generation gauntlets feature a redesigned three-piece thumb and extended wrist coverage, specifically addressing the demands of steel combat where precision handling must be combined with maximum hand protection.

The AP Plus 350N Jacket Version 3.0 provides full protection for the torso and arms. An evolution of the famous Axel Pettersson jacket, it incorporates numerous ergonomic improvements: double closure system, supports for additional shells, and an adjustable back strap. Its 350N certification guarantees resistance to impacts from steel simulators.

The Locust Plus pants complete this protection by covering the lower limbs. Its 3.0 Plus version, certified 350N, includes foam plates protecting the thighs and remains compatible with SPES knee pads for modular protection according to the disciplines practiced.

This configuration represents the reference equipment adopted by many European clubs for training in advanced HEMA techniques. The investment, although significant, proves to be durable and effectively supports progression towards expert levels of practice.
