"Viper" Rapier by Bellatore
HEMA rapier with a swept hilt guard inspired by the teachings of the Antwerp master Gérard Thibault and his "Academy of the Sword" (1628). Lacking a knuckle bow, it is distinguished by a characteristic cross on the back of the guard and hand-forged viper decorations connecting the outer rings. Its handle and pommel, longer than those of other schools of Verdadera Destreza, incorporate the unique features of the Thibault method.
- Swept hilt guard without knuckle bow, cross on the back, and hand-forged vipers
- Elongated handle and pommel, in line with Thibault's method
- Weight shifted towards the hand for a stable point and precise control of the blade
- Blade model of 104cm
