Short Sword AS02 Warden Type XII

The "Warden" is a modern interpretation of the classic knight's sword from the High Middle Ages. Its design is directly inspired by the type XII classification of Ewart Oakeshott: a wide blade at the base, gradually tapering towards the tip. It is the perfect weapon for studying manuscripts like the I.33 (swordplay with the buckler), where managing the Bind (the engagement of blades) and the quick transition from cut to thrust are fundamental.

In terms of feel, Regenyei delivers a lively weapon here. The 51CrV4 spring steel (50 HRC) ensures unparalleled durability for parries at the Fort of the blade. The presence of an extended fuller over more than half of the blade helps lighten the overall weight without sacrificing structural rigidity. However, caution is advised: the stiffness of this model is classified as "Stiff." This means it is excellent for precise technical work and intensive drills, but it requires great skill during assaults to avoid injuring your partner with thrusts.

This simulator is NOT intended for high-intensity tournaments or "full contact" sparring. Its reduced flexibility makes thrusts potentially dangerous if the impact is not perfectly controlled.
