"Purpleheart" Lance

The spear is one of the oldest and most universal weapons known to humanity. Used in hunting and warfare, this tool has many variations across time and cultures. In the European tradition, spears typically measured about 2 meters in length, although longer spears were also used.

Many spears had an iron tip at the back. When facing cavalry charges, spearmen used the tip to anchor the weapon into the ground.

The shape of the spearhead is described as "laurel leaf" and was produced with a softer rubber to bend upon impact.

The rounded ball at its end also helps to distribute the impact over a larger area.

The ash wood shaft is custom-made in France.

With a diameter of 30 mm, it is particularly pleasant to hold and perfectly smooth.

The ends taper to facilitate the attachment of rubber parts.
