Description

The Extended Foam Gorget from SPARTA has been specifically designed to protect the neck, clavicles, shoulders, and upper torso. This gorget offers additional security for the most exposed areas during combat.

Its unique design with foam plates provides remarkable effectiveness against cutting and thrusting attacks. The gorget also extends over the shoulders and clavicles, effectively cushioning impacts on the upper body and thereby reducing the risk of injuries.

Lightweight and easy to put on, it can be comfortably worn over a fencing jacket or gambeson, adding a layer of protection without hindering mobility. Thanks to its plastic buckle, the attachment is quick and secure, allowing for a perfect fit.

The SPARTA Foam Gorget is compatible with most masks available on the market, making it ideal for a variety of martial arts disciplines.

In the absence of a harmonized European standard specific to HEMA, this material does not benefit from the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certification of the FIE-CE type.

The "350N" and "800N" ratings designate the fabric's puncture resistance measured in a laboratory. They do not constitute a guarantee against impacts and do not measure shock absorption, as the case may be.

The use of this equipment, particularly for the practice of HEMA, is under the sole responsibility of the user. It is recommended that the user adapt and complete their equipment according to the simulators used (steel, synthetic, wood), the intensity of their practice, and the regulatory requirements of their club or tournament.
