Made from durable leather, this mask cover offers comprehensive protection for the head and neck. Its unique feature lies in the integration of rigid plastic plates at the back of the head, ensuring enhanced protection against powerful impacts, which are common during longsword combat. An additional plate at the throat area reinforces security in this vulnerable zone.

The intelligent design of this mask cover includes a padded hood that effectively absorbs shocks, thereby reducing the risk of concussion and other head injuries. Ventilation openings are strategically placed on each side, allowing excellent heat dissipation, a major advantage during intensive training sessions or tournaments.

In the absence of a harmonized European standard specific to HEMA, this material does not benefit from the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certification of the FIE-CE type.

The "350N" and "800N" ratings designate the fabric's puncture resistance measured in a laboratory. They do not constitute a guarantee against impacts and do not measure shock absorption, as the case may be.

The use of this equipment, particularly for the practice of HEMA, is under the sole responsibility of the user. It is recommended that the user adapt and complete their equipment according to the simulators used (steel, synthetic, wood), the intensity of their practice, and the regulatory requirements of their club or tournament.
