"SPES Trinity" Extended Leather Mask Overlay
Integral padded protection for the mask to reduce shock and protect the back of the head and on the shoulders
- Extended protection to shoulders and collarbones
- Protective shell in the larynx against thrusts
- Size XL fits all FAITS D’ARMES masks
Description
Mask overlay with integrated occipital protection is a technologically advanced product. The front and sides of the mask refer to hoods used in medieval times.
It is the only overlay that is commercially produced which protects larynx, shoulders and occipital bone. It fits most commonly used masks.
A significant element of this overlay is a plastic insertion to protect the larynx from painful thrusts. Additionally, the overlay has quilted shoulder protector and a movable occipital cover which is strengthened with plastic plates. The most important aspect of this overlay is the effective neck protection.

The use of this equipment, particularly for the practice of HEMA, is under the sole responsibility of the user. It is recommended that the user adapt and complete their equipment according to the simulators used (steel, synthetic, wood), the intensity of their practice, and the regulatory requirements of their club or tournament.
