Based on the AP Light 350N model, this NG 800N version maintains the lightweight construction that made the range successful, while increasing the outer fabric's resistance to 800N. The design retains the visual elements of the standard AP NG 800N — a front flap finished with a gray band, straps of the same shade on the back and sleeves — but with attachment points for additional protection limited to the elbows, unlike the classic NG 800N model which offers them along the entire arm.

The most notable change is in the inner padding: the traditional felt is replaced by a thick 3D mesh, which improves moisture wicking and ventilation while maintaining antibacterial properties. Combined with a lighter outer fabric, this lining allows the jacket to adapt to the body without hindering movement, an important factor for extended sparring sessions or training in hot weather. The foam pockets have also been enlarged at the front, sides, and shoulders, allowing for free adjustment of the padding level according to the intensity of the session or individual sensitivity.

Regarding closure, the double zip and velcro system under the front flap is retained, along with a back strap to cinch the jacket and shift the weight onto the hips rather than the shoulders. The sleeves maintain fixation straps at the elbows, compatible with PRO or Shell overprotections (sold separately), for those who wish to upgrade their equipment to a higher level of protection.
