Description
SPES has designed the Dragonfly NG 800N by combining the best features of its two flagship models: the versatility of the Locust and the enhanced protection of the Hussar. This pants are aimed at HEMA practitioners looking for equipment capable of withstanding intensive longsword training.
The 800N composite fabric offers optimal puncture resistance, while the multi-layer padding system incorporates foams on the knees, outer thighs, and hips. Front pockets at the hips allow for the addition of extra foams (not included), and attachments are provided for Shell knee pads.
Worn high-waisted, these pants effectively protect the lower abdomen. The zip and velcro closure ensures reliable support, complemented by adjustable suspenders for optimal fit. The breathable 3D mesh lining promotes heat dissipation during prolonged fights.
The red piping on the sides and the back pocket are inspired by 19th-century cavalry uniforms, offering a distinctive visual signature at tournaments.

If you are unsure, we recommend choosing the smaller of the two sizes. SPES pants are known to be very large, especially around the waist.
