The Pilgrim rapier represents a unique marriage between the spiritual heritage of the pilgrims of Compostela and the excellence of 17th-century Spanish fencing. Each piece is hand-forged in the Bellatore workshops in Galicia, the birthplace of the Saint James pilgrimage.

The ornamental guard, inspired by scallop shells, a symbol of the pilgrims, is not just aesthetic: its grooves offer exceptional protection while maintaining the characteristic lightness of 'a la española' rapiers. This historical design allows for precise handling and effective defense during assaults.

The diamond-section blade, equipped with a short fuller, offers the perfect balance between flexibility and rigidity necessary for practicing Destreza. The ricasso of 50 mm allows for an advanced grip characteristic of Spanish techniques, while the nut-shaped pommel ensures optimal counterbalance.

As each rapier is individually crafted, slight variations in dimensions attest to its authentic artisanal character. The oval handle, available in two lengths, is covered with worked leather for a grip that is both comfortable and historically faithful.
