Spanish Rapier "Kvetun"
Version 2.0
This Spanish type rapier with a cup hilt is incredibly light and well balanced. It was forged in Russia by Kvetun Armory, a master in the field.
- Leather covered handle
- Flexible Blade
- Rolled tip for more safety when thrusting
- 1 year warranty
The rapier is a late evolution of the civil sword. It appeared at the end of the 15th century in Spain and then in Italy
Its thin, elongated blade makes it a favored weapon for stabbing, although its sharp edges can cause serious gashes.
The guard has undergone many evolutions over the ages and the region, the “cup hilt” guard model as here was more on the Spanish side, while in Italy we preferred airy guards with a pronounced taste for curves.
This model, forged by Kvetun Armory, is particularly appreciated by rapierists for the lightness and balance of the weapon.
